CHIPPEWA BEACH COTTAGE

Situated on the East
side of Burt lake, about 3 miles north of the Indian River inlet. It
is 3
miles from the town of Indian River, and 2 1/2 miles from the Indian
River golf course on Chippewa Beach Road.
The cottage has 3 bed rooms (2 with double beds & 1 with twin beds).
There is also a loft with twin beds. There are 2 full bath rooms with
tub/shower, washer & dryer, dish washer, gas stove, dishwasher, coffee maker,
toaster, microwave, satellite TV/DVD player, screened and
windowed porch, large beachside deck with picnic table and a metal
ring for beach fires. Bed linens are furnished, as are
bathroom towels. The cottage is smoke free. Smoking outside on the
deck is allowed but butts must be disposed of properly. Well behaved
dogs are welcome but must be kept off of the furniture and beds.
There is a large wire dog box on the porch.
There is a sandy beach, dock, and mooring for one boat up to 25ft.
Boats can be tied to the dock on mild choppy days. However
on windy choppy days and at night the boat must be secured to the mooring
chain
with 25 feet of stout nylon line attached to the mooring chain. The
east side of Burt lake can get very windy & rough. On a calm day
one can see the bottom at 6 feet through clear-clean water.
The cottage is smoke free. Smoking outside is OK if the butts are
disposed of properly. Well behaved dogs are welcome, but must stay
off the furniture & beds. There is a $50 surcharge per dog. There is
a large dog wire box on the porch.
This is an ideal situation for a family vacation.
Check in time is 2 PM and check out time is 10 AM. Rental is
Saturday to Saturday. The cottage septic system will accommodate up
to 8 persons (including children). Family reunions and large parties
are not permitted (Indian River Cooperation Park or Burt Lake State
Park can be utilized for that purpose).
RATES
6 people: $1275 per
week, June 25 through Labor Day
Each additional person, up to 8 people maximum: $75 each, per week.
Dog surcharge: $50.00
After Labor Day,
until October 1, $700.00 per week. Off season rates available.
A deposit of $200 is
required to secure reservation. Full payment upon arrival is
expected.

Situated 1 1/2 miles from the
lake on 10 acres of wooded property. Private & quiet. It is brand new and sleeps
5 (a double bed, twin beds, and a single bed) and has a TV & DVD player. Bed
linens & towels furnished. Beach access & boat mooring can be arranged.
Rent is $660 per week from
Saturday to Saturday. Dogs are welcome for a surcharge of $50 per dog. A
security deposit of $200 will establish your reservation. Full rent is due at
check in. The security deposit will be returned within 2 weeks of departure.
