CHIPPEWA BEACH COTTAGE
Situated on the E. shore of Burt Lake about 3 miles N. of the Indian River inlet, 2 ½ Miles from the town of Indian River, and 2 miles from the world class Indian River Golf Course (on Chippewa Beach Road). The cottage has 3 bed rooms and a sleeping loft for 2. (2 double beds and 2 sets of twin beds). In addition there is a futon on the glass/screened in porch. All mattresses are new or in good shape (our family lived here in the summer for 30 years). There are 2 full bath rooms with tub/shower; washer & dryer; dish washer; gas stove, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dish TV, VCR, DVD and screened/windowed porch. There is ample parking, SANDY beach; dock and boat mooring. Boats can be tied to the dock during the day time, however they should be put on a mooring at night. The east shore of Burt can be windy and rough. On a calm day, one can see the bottom at 6 feet. Well behaved dogs are welcome but must stay off the beds & furniture. There is a $25 extra charge for dogs because they do bring in more dirt & sand. Towels and sheets are furnished. 2008 rent is $1200 per week Saturday to Saturday June 15 through Labor day.
Rent is $900 before June 15 and after labor day. Check in time is from 3pm on. Check out time is by
10:30 a.m. |

CABIN IN THE WOODS
Situated 1 1/2 miles from the lake on 10 acres of wooded property. Private & quiet. It is brand new and sleeps 5. TV reception is limited to about 4 channels. A DVD is available. Deer walk through the front yard from time to time. Beach access & boat mooring can be arranged. There is plenty of room for trailers. 2008 rent is $600 per week from Saturday to
Saturday. Well behaved dogs are welcome but must stay off the beds & furniture. There is a $25 extra charge for dogs because they do bring in more dirt & sand.
Check out is at 10:30 a.m. Towels and bed linens are furnished. Reservation deposit is $150 with the balance due at check in. |
